What is independent living?
Independent living enables seniors to enjoy an independent and active lifestyle without the headaches of home maintenance, yard work, and other time consuming tasks. . This lifestyle is perfect for seniors who are in no need of assistance when performing daily activities but wish to enjoy the social benefits of a retirement community.
Is independent living right for me?
Our Charlotte Independent Living community is based on our retiree’s lifestyle. The CCRC model of care is proven to lengthen and maintain that level of activity.
Our Members live an independent life with options like continual healthcare monitoring, to easily access any and all healthcare needs. This way we are able to stay on top of possible problems, big or small, as our Members transition with age.
We take the inconvenience out of medical care. If living at a home, not in our community, a retiree may feel like they are bothering someone when they have a medical concern. Some seniors may choose not to drive and require transportation. Others may not want to bother their family or friends with worry. This may lead to a retiree not getting the medical care they need. When small problems are addressed early on, they don’t manifest into bigger issues that could hinder the vibrant lifestyle all retirees desire to maintain. We offer assisted living, nursing home care and memory care when there is a need for advanced medical care.
