When you move to The Cypress and purchase your own home, you get a lifetime membership for services and health care.  Since you own your home, you and your family have the opportunity to enjoy any appreciation. Ownership also offers financial options and security not found in entry fee communities. All the common facilities, including the clubhouse and health center, were deeded over to the Homeowners Association debt free in 1999.  The community operates on a not-for-profit basis and is managed by Life Care Services, a specialist in the industry.  Although the developer retains ultimate responsibility, residents are active in providing guidance for financial and operations issues through a variety of committees.
